The Abominable Snow-baby is a short story written by Terry Pratchett written in 1968 and was published in the Bucks Free Press. The story was later reprinted in the anthology Father Christmas's Fake Beard.
Plot
Albert Scruggins, his Granny and other members of the village of Blackbury encounter a six metre tall abominable snow-baby after a great blizzard covers the town in snow.
Adaptation
In April 2021 Channel 4 announced that it would be airing a 30 minute animated adaptation of the story. Produced by Eagle Eye Drama, in association with Narrativia, to be released in December 2021.
