One interesting feature of the Disc Universe, Ponder Stibbons has noticed, is that a great many things aren't impossible until they are tried. Once they are, however, the Universe catches on, and it becomes impossible. Mr. Stibbons uses Hex to perform lots of very small, very quick spells in succession, and then measures the time it takes to become impossible.
