Colin Smythe points out that the book is set in the alternate nineteenth-century London of the Nation universe. "Children's" indeed! Old Dickens 03:00, 6 March 2012 (CET)
In the sampler the "alternative London" aspect isn't immediately apparent. Maybe its the layout of London, or it gets "steampunk" later on, but the sampler reads like a historical piece. Marmosetpower 09:42, 2 June 2012 (CEST)
