Abiding Swindell is the ferret-keeper in the village of Twoshirts and is possibly the man who is to ferrets what Hodgesaargh is to birds of prey. The Nac Mac Feegle once had occasion to steal his clothes and noted, with uncommon fastidiousness, that the ferrets must have found it so comfortable living inside his trousers that they didn't bother getting out to go to the toilet.
