The river along which Djelibeybi is situated. It provides fresh water in an otherwise dry and desert-like environment on the coast of Klatch. The water is inhabited by crocodiles. The Discworld Mapp shows it entering into the Circle Sea through a delta, rather than the usual river mouth, in much the same way as the Nile enters the Mediterranean Sea.
Djelibeybi literally means 'Child of the Djel'.
