Dolly Sisters Players

The Players are an amateur dramatical company based in the Dolly Sisters area of Ankh-Morpork.

A leading light of the Players is Professor John Hicks of the Unseen University, who, in return for dragooning student wizards in as scene-changers, props men, stage-hands and general dogsbodies, gets plum parts like that of Lord Fartswell in their most recent production, 'Tis Pity She's An Instructor in Unarmed Combat. Now doctor Hix and licenced by University statute as Resident Evil Wizard, Hix spreads the cause of low-level but all-pervading evil by handing out tickets to DSP productions, even performing a sort of reverse anti-dipping by inserting them surreptitiously into likely-looking pockets.
