Ladislav Pelc is the current Prehumous Professor of Morbid Bibliomancy. He is unusual for a wizard in that he has no beard of his own but wears a false beard when in public. He resides in a small office in the Unseen University where he is currently working on a device to identify the reading needs of all visitors to the Library.
