Neither {{NDC}} nor {{TR}} nor yet {{CDA}} mentions "Zchloty". The quote from {{COM}} is 'he selected a Zchloty leaden quarter-iotum', suggesting that the monetary unit is the iotum and it comes from Zchloty (or Zchlot with the"y" used as -ian or -ish). --[[User:Old Dickens|Old Dickens]] ([[User talk:Old Dickens|talk]]) 01:06, 14 December 2021 (UTC) |

Is there a reason why an article on a small unit of coinage is listed under "Discworld geography"? (And, for that matter, under Locations in the Colour of Magic page)? TC01 18:42, 10 October 2009 (UTC)

What is it?
Neither The New Discworld Companion nor Turtle Recall nor yet The Compleat Discworld Atlas mentions "Zchloty". The quote from The Colour of Magic is 'he selected a Zchloty leaden quarter-iotum', suggesting that the monetary unit is the iotum and it comes from Zchloty (or Zchlot with the"y" used as -ian or -ish). --Old Dickens (talk) 01:06, 14 December 2021 (UTC)
