In 2002 a hardback reprint of the book was released with additional illustrations.
On 3rd November 2022 a new hardback edition will be published by Orion Books to tie-in with the release of The Amazing Maurice. This edition features "fifty illustrations and artwork from the creative minds behind the Amazing Maurice film", as well as a new introduction by Rhianna Pratchett. It's unclear if the Gray Joliffe illustrations have been retained or replaced.
