Punes or plays on words

I had a vague memory of hearing the word or phrase "mericet" somewhere before. Spoken out loud, it sounds like something Mericet most definitely isn't.

I googled on the phrase merry set... to see what emerged.

  • There's an over-cute Victorian waltz and song about flower fairies called we are The Merry Set.
  • There is also an old English christmas carol called Rejoice and be merry, set sorrows aside. Which if you think like an Assassin is a job description. As this is a Victorian carol, Anaglypta Huggs would approve and it may even be sung on the Disc. Imagine Assasins' Guild students forced to sing Carols in the run up to Hogswatch... "Rejoice and be Mericet...." AgProv (talk) 18:55, 1 April 2014 (UTC)
  • There is also a technical university in New Delhi called MERICET - the Meri College of Engineering and Technology.... AgProv (talk) 10:01, 8 September 2014 (UTC)
