Erm...we have a page of reading suggestions; I'm not sure we should expand the Discworld & Pratchett Wiki to literature in general. --Old Dickens 16:02, 27 April 2007 (CEST)

Accepted, but Pratchett and Adams have often been compared as if they share exactly the same literary territory.

A short article demonstrating the similarities and the differencves between their approaches to humorous fiction seemed to be apposite.

Sahould this be moved to Reading suggestions as a brief introduction to Adams as a absurdist comic writer in similar vein to TP?

That would be my preference; I was hoping for more opinions. Where among the influences would you stop? Wodehouse? Shakespeare? --Old Dickens 01:56, 28 April 2007 (CEST)

Anyway, I'm pretty sure he never collaborated with Terry Pratchett. See also Tom Holt. --Old Dickens (talk) 14:00, 6 July 2016 (UTC)

Contrast

Terry Pratchett once said that writing was the most fun you could have with your clothes on. Douglas Adams seemed to differ. --Old Dickens (talk) 22:52, 25 March 2021 (UTC)
