Mentioned in Pyramids, Papylos is an island in a bay. The The Compleat Discworld Atlas expands somewhat by describing how it is being developed, with the building of many luxurious hotels, as a tourist destination for summer holidays. The Ephebeian government has declared it a philosopher-free zone.
