Bowden Jeffries is a purveyor of seafood and a self-proclaimed occasional taxpayer in Ankh-Morpork. He is seen in Raising Steam expressing discontent at the Patrician's neglect of the small businessman and his ignorance at what time spent in transit does to, say, a ton of overheated octopus.
