Re: breaking the sound barrier. "There was a distant boom", but flying unprotected at 1200 Km/hr without being torn to shreds seems too fantastic for Discworld. I think it was mentioned before that 70 mi/hr was about tops for a broomstick, which is already a severe wind to hang on in. --Old Dickens (talk) 17:33, 6 January 2016 (UTC)
