Ancient And Alluvial Lodge of the Fraternal Herders Association
Otherwise known as the Worm-Herders' Guild. Based on the town of Little Swelling, the lodge meets in the back room of the Worm-Herder's Arms and performs the usual range of functions for its members, including the free use of its deep and secure worm-pens and grading riddles. It runs the Annual Worm Races in the second week of April, held on a measured length of Platform One of the Little Swelling railway station. They successfully petitioned the railway company to install the worm-bridge where the railway crosses the time-honoured Old Limner's Way, the worm-herding route, and maintain shrines to Aniger, Goddess of Road-kill.
