Johnny and the Bomb is the second adaptation of one of Terry Pratchett's Johnny Maxwell novels, after Johnny and the Dead. Produced by Childsplay Television Ltd.
Plot
Based on the original story: after finding an injured Mrs Tachyon and taking her to hospital, Johnny and his friends discover the time travelling properties of the homeless woman's shopping trolley. Taking them back between present day and 1941 the children soon discover the dangers of changing history.
Episodes
The series was originally aired as three 40 minute episodes on CBBC. The DVD release condensed these into a single 'movie.'
