Plaza of Broken Moons
The Plaza is the largest paved square in Ankh-Morpork, and is connected to Sator Square by the Cham, and the Palace by the Maul. Several interesting things occur here:
- Rincewind first realizes Twoflower's iconograph is demon-powered here (The Colour of Magic)
- Moving pictures are first publicly displayed here (Moving Pictures)
- Sourcery suggests that seamstresses may ply their trade here.
- Contains a dress shop Jingo
- A house of study at the Assassins' Guild School is named after this square.
- Location of a gathering of a gang of trolls in Thud!. Some of the flagstones in the plaza were apparently etched by the troll beer.
