Alohura

Mentioned in The Colour of Magic, she is the beTrobi Goddess of Lightning.

Annotation

Possible reference (or at least, linguistically similar to) Ahura, as in Ahura Mazda, the one uncreated Creator, hence God, in Zoroastrianism, who was the god of fire. Lightning is not so dissimilar.

There is also the Hawaiian greeting "Aloha", which means affection, love, peace, compassion, mercy, goodbye, and hello, among other sentiments of a similar nature.
