Gibbsson

The famous (at least, during the events of Soul Music) guitar-maker, Blert Wheedown employs a promising apprentice named Gibbsson. From context, it is not obvious whether or not Gibbsson is human or a Dwarf.

Annotation

On Roundworld, a Les Paul Gibson guitar is a more than a bit special. Some of the early models go for serious money. An awful lot of high-end guitarists use them, notably Slash from Guns n' Roses. In August 2009, Time Magazine named him #2 on its list of the 10 Best Electric Guitar Players of All-Time. He owns, amongst his 100+ guitars:
