Long Wall

Location of a new Watchhouse opened during Feet of Clay. Long Wall runs from The Soake at Park Lane to The Ridings at King's Way in the wealthy central portion of Ankh. It follows what would have been the outside of some surviving sections of old city wall. Proof for this being the historical survival of an older, smaller, walled city is indirectly given by the fact the road terminates at Dark Gate, just before the Ridings, suggesting an old city gate once stood here. Judging from the conventional symbols used in The Streets of Ankh-Morpork, it is entirely possible the remains of an old city gate are to be seen here.
