Olwyn Vitoller was the leader of Vitoller's Strolling Players, a motley troupe of wandering actors, who became, through a combination of the incredible talents of his adoptive son Tomjon and the playscripts of the dwarven genius Hwel, the owner of Dysk Theatre in Ankh-Morpork.
When wandering through Lancre once, he met Granny Weatherwax and Nanny Ogg, an experience most people tend not to forget. He had a special reason not to - he was given a son by them, and he and Mrs Vitoller took him in and loved him as their own. Tomjon grew up an elective mute until the day he burst forth into glorious thespian voice with a perfect memory for the words (thanks to Nanny), and the fortunes they earned afforded Vitoller and his crew the luxury of building the Dysk and being able to stop touring.
Is now a leading theatrical producer - and occasional performer - at his theatre on the Isle of Gods, near the Opera House, the Bear Pit and the theatre of Lord Wynkin's Men.
