Another Jim in Medical History
I expect it's pure coincidence, but in my internet wanderings I came across this wikipedia page on a horse called Jim, who apparently was used to create a diphtheria anti-toxin back in 1901. As I say, probably a coincidence, but a strange one considering the associations between the name, horses and human medicine in history. --Verity (talk) 00:40, 4 March 2014 (UTC)
Annotation
The annotation is to a nearly opposite sort of veterinarian. I suppose the important thing is that they're both named James. --Old Dickens (talk) 03:47, 5 December 2022 (UTC)
