Whoops. didn't turn the page. In my defence: on p341 of Carpe Jugulum, Terry spells it Maledicta, and the Gerald bit... could tht be a hearkening back to the Game played by the younger and more rebellious vampires, who cut their hair short, stay up till way past noon, and play a strange game where they pretend to be accountants and shop assistants called Pam and Gerald? Is Agnes harking back to the argument about this she overheard between Lacci and Vlad a few pages earlier? And.. Fenrir is a male name. Maledicta a female one. Assigning both to the same vampire? Reference

The name Fenrir is probably a reference to the giant wolf and son of Loki also called Fenrir. Does anyone know how this is a reference, though? --Confusion 21:52, 29 October 2011 (CEST)
