Talk:Llamedos Jones
From which book is all that information?
apologies, should have specified. If you were to buy a copy of the Discworlde Mappe, as well as a sumptuously illustrated "consensus map" of the whole Disc, you also get a short book, short story, novellette, well, more of a pamphlet, really, by Pterry and Stephen Briggs, which gives additional material to go with the map as well as pocket biographies of some of the disc's more renowned adenturers and explorers. Who include Llamedos Jones, among others (Sir Roderick Purdleigh, Lady Alice Venturi, Ponce Da Quirm...) The Wiki entries for these figures are largely based on the Mappe's booklet, as well as odd mentions in the books (Ponce Da Quirm also being a character in his own right in Eric). I bet there are a lot of these entries scattered around that puzzle newcomers as to where the information comes from, as they can't recall having seen it in any of the books. For the very good reason that they largely don't appear in the books, they have so far only lived in the ephemera, like the yearly diary.--AgProv 15:30, 21 November 2008 (UTC)
