In real life, I teach physics, umpire baseball, and do play-by-play audio broadcasting for a number of sports. William de Worde's commentary when Dr. Hix is sent off for using the poisoned dagger of the Vampyre Spider Queen qualifies as my all-time favorite discworld moment.

I'm considering developing -- with my wife the English teacher -- a summer course on the works of Pratchett for the high school where I teach. Any thoughts, please post on the talk page. I'd love to hear them.
