This wiki is a Terry Pratchett-oriented wiki environment. We currently have 4,208 articles. Although it started out centred on Discworld, it now hosts all sorts of information about Terry Pratchett and his works. Want to contribute? Thursday, November 5th, 2020:

Narrativia announces that Sky Cinema are co-producing the animated film The Amazing Maurice with previously announced companies Ulysses Filmproduktion and Cantilever Media. The adaptation of 'The Amazing Maurice and his Educated Rodents' also has a confirmed its release date of 2022, and announced some key cast, including Hugh Laurie as Maurice, Emilia Clarke as Malicia Grim, David Thewlis as "Boss Man", Himesh Patel as Keith, Gemma Arterton as Peaches and Hugh Bonneville as The Mayor. Friday, October 9th, 2020:

As part of an online panel at New York Comic-Con, BBC America release the first teaser trailer for The Watch, as well as a few short clips. Online fan reaction was largely negative, as were comments from Rhianna Pratchett, Neil Gaiman and Stephen Briggs. YouTube playlist of trailer and clips

Friday, August 7th, 2020:

AMC Networks, the broadcasting corporation who owns and operates BBC America, announce release dates for new and returning shows, including a January 2021 launch date for The Watch. Tuesday, April 28th, 2020:

Narrativia announces via media release an exclusive new deal with Motive Pictures and Endeavour Content to produce "definitive" and "absolutely faithful" Discworld adaptations for the screen. No details about specific productions have yet been announced. The full text of the announcement is available on the Narrativia web site.

Tuesday, November 19th, 2019:

More cast are announced for The Watch: James Fleet as The Archchancellor, Ingrid Oliver as Dr Cruces, Ruth Madeley as Cut Me Own Throat Dibbler, and Kae-Kazim as Captain John Keel, and Bianca Simone Mannie as Wonse. BBC America article

First casting announcements for The Watch are released, including the main cast: Richard Dormer as Sam Vimes, Adam Hugill as Carrot Ironfoundersson, Jo Eaton-Kent as Constable Cheery, Marama Corlette as Corporal Angua, Lara Rossi as Lady Sybil Ramkin and Sam Adewunmi as Carcer Dun. The BBC announces they have greenlit The Watch, a "punk rock thriller" procedural crime series based on the Discworld novels of Terry Pratchett.

Sir Terry Pratchett died at home in Wiltshire today following a long battle with Alzheimer's. At present no further details are known. BBC report, 3:26pm GMT

16th January 2021: Snowgum Films release the complete version their short film Troll Bridge for free on Youtube.

7 July 2020: The Guardian (and several other news outlets) publish a story about the upcoming publication of The Time-travelling Caveman, scheduled for 1 September 2020. (It had previously been announced in fan circles, notably by the Discworld Monthly.) This is a fourth volume of "never before published" early short stories for children originally written for newspapers. It follows Dragons At Crumbling Castle, The Witch's Vacuum Cleaner and Father Christmas's Fake Beard. The article includes one of the newly published stories: "The Tropnecian Invasion of Great Britain". Guardian Article

6 July 2020: Marc Burrows, comedian and musician, has written a biography of Terry, The Magic of Terry Pratchett, which is set to be published by Pen and Sword Books on July 30, 2020 On pen and sword books. According to Marc himself: "it's not "authorised", but the Pratchett Estate have read it (and even offered some suggestions), and are allowing it to be published (despite scary emails from lawyers for a while.)" 13 January 2017: The BBC has announced that it is producing a TV drama-documentary of his life. Terry Pratchett Back in Black is based on Terry's own notes for a never-written autobiography, and features actor Paul Kaye as Terry. 25 August 2016: Release of the second collection of Terry's early stories The Witch's Vacuum Cleaner.

14 June 2016: Release of the last in The Long Earth series The Long Cosmos.

22 Oct 2015: expected release of The Compleat Discworld Atlas

27 August 2015: Release of the final Discworld Novel The Shepherd's Crown.

Radio:- In June and July 2019, BBC Radio Four rebroadcast their adaptation of Good Omens in six parts, culminating in the Armageddon on Sunday, 21 July. 2020 isn't responsible for everything.

Television:- In August 2020, BBC America released a new image from their series The Watch, with filming in South Africa now complete. The release date is now comfirmed as January 2021.
