Lauragatea

Lauragatea has now ceased to exist; it was the smaller of the two landmasses formed after the supercontinent of Pangola split in two, hundreds of millions of years ago. The other was Howondaland.
Lauragatea eventually became The Counterweight Continent and the mysterious continent of XXXX.
It was named by the wizard Venter Borass - partly after the Agatean Empire, which occupies most of the Counterweight Continent, and partly after his mother.
Annotation
A parody of the Roundworld theory of Laurasia, one of the two landmasses formed when the supercontinent Pangaea split apart. The other was Gondwanaland.
