What am I missing?

So, this is an article about a year... but the second paragraph talks about a "game" being an amalgamation of things I've never heard of. Can someone clarify? Or it the article itself as confused as I am? <shrug> Moishe Rosenbaum (talk) 19:52, 14 December 2022 (UTC)

The game in question is "Saddle Pork", as mentioned in the first sentence, but really that ought to have its own entry as this article is just about the year. We should also be wary of just verbatim reproducing text from the books without clearly identifying it as such... -- Guybrush (talk) 07:29, 15 December 2022 (UTC)

I've had a go at cleaning this up by separating out the info into three linked articles - for the game, the person and the year - and copyediting it so we're at least paraphrasing the book. There are a lot of entries which just reproduce Terry's jokes or those found in the companion books, which isn't really what we're here for. -- Guybrush (talk) 07:45, 15 December 2022 (UTC)
